I would especially like to thank Allesandro Favoretto Rubelli (whose youngest son I painted a portrait of many years ago) and the Rubelli family of Venice, Italy, for their kind permission in the use of their beautiful fabric as the banner for my website. Rubelli created this textile, pictured here, for the Italian Royal Family in 1902.
